Anthony Grier’s obsession with music began when he was four years old growing up in New York. “Music is my first love” he explains. “Other kids wanted toys, I wanted records.” His original collection of 45’s gave birth to a career that to date has included over 25 years of DJ experience. Going by the name DJ Control, Grier has also spent 10 years in radio as well as working with Steve Drayton for music television’s “Make it Happen” in the 1990’s
Migrating from New York after 9/11, today DJ Control uses his talents as a nightclub DJ in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. DJ Control continues to be motivated by the music itself and the transition that music has made over the years. “I’ve been very fortunate to stay with the times, with the transitions of music that been made over the years.” In the future, DJ Control is looking forward to working in radio again, as well as doing live concerts for large crowds.

MIX MASTER NEAL C. “Essentials” Show – Wednesdays 8:00-10:00pm EST The Saturday Night House Party “SNHP” Saturdays 9:00-11:00pm EST
Born and raised in Money Earnin’ Mt. Vernon, NY where everyone was either a DJ or a basketball player. He left NY, after graduating from Mt. Vernon HS to attend college and decided to go south for warm weather and a lower cost of living. He ended up in Houston, TX and never left. He attended two local universities, majoring in Radio/TV and started DJʼing and hosting parties to pay his way through school. He landed a job as a resident DJ at a local house music club and later completed an internship at KMJQ (Magic 102 FM). Some years later he became interested in law enforcement and started a family. During that period, he remained a part-time mobile DJ, while raising a family. He later decided to make law enforcement my career.
Over the years, after giving up the mobile business he continued to make mix tapes for family & friends with his extensive vinyl record collection. He was often encouraged by those same friends to pursue his passion for spinning music, as they recognized his talent for it. Within the past few years he decided to do just that, with retirement right around the corner. He has since converted all of his vinyl records to MP3 files, joined a DJ pool and began looking for the right opportunity to feature his talents and grow as a DJ.
He believes real DJing is a lost art. The radio plays the same old, tight rotation of music and doesnʼt introduce any new or innovative music. His friends often ask who is that particular artist or what song is that on his mix tapes and ask why that song or artist isnʼt played on the radio? He has always believed that entertaining and educating people while they are getting their groove on is a DJs job and he’ll continue to believe that.
DJ Noodles Show – Tuesdays 8:00-10:00pm EST
DJ Noodle From Hempstead Long IslandBeen into music since I can remember. Loved playing with the little 45’s and dancing. As a teenager during the early years of DJing I was part of a crew, The System 4 Crew. At the time all I could do or wanted to do was scratch. I did most of the college parties at school (Dowling College) where the music from the early 80’s influenced me Punk, early House, Disco, Rap, R&B, Reggae and top 40, I love the 80’s. Dancing a has been a major part of my growth as a DJ at the time. It helped me to understand the crowd, I always felt that if I can dance to it so will the crowd.House Music became my favorite. After college I worked as a mobile DJ then I got a shot to work on Long Island as a night club DJ at Le MaRon (formally known as Essence the night club) and then Tryveka with Charles Belcher and Tony Moore and other clubs on Long Island. Great times. In the late 1996 I moved to Maryland where I have been since working as a mobile DJ and Photographer. Weddings, corporate functions and all types of mobile events. I still love to dance when ever I get a chance.Dancing helps keep you young, So dance as much as you can.House Music all night long, say what House music all night long.
